It all started in 1958 in the back room of the Denver Hardware Store.  Paul Witwer, Walter Cubberley and Floyd Witwer founded Kalas with the desire to carve out niches for themselves in a variety of markets within the wire industry.  To this day, that is how Kalas operates.  We don’t service just one industry, but instead bring our proven experience and quality to a variety of applications and industries.

Having long since outgrown the back room of the hardware store, Kalas now operates out of three plants in Denver, Pennsylvania and one in Lancaster, Pennsylvania while servicing clients from down the street to across the globe.  It is Kalas’ history of flexibility that has allowed us to develop solutions that take us from being a simple wire and cable provider to being a valuable partner in our customers’ businesses.
